About the Principal

Dr. Tracey Reed-Thompson is the principal of Yorkship Family School located in the Fairview section of Camden. Yorkship Family School services students in grades PreK-8. The curriculum includes classroom libraries innovative math programs and a revised literacy framework. Previously, Principal Reed-Thompson was the principal at the Henry H. Davis Family School and was vice principal at Rafael Cordero Molina Elementary School.


Dr. Reed-Thompson began her teaching career in Camden. She taught first-fifth grades and was a math coach for several years.


Dr. Reed-Thompson is a proud graduate of Camden High School. She has a bachelor’s in elementary education and social work from Rowan University, a master’s in education administration from the University of Pennsylvania, and a master’s in higher education from Rowan University.

Dr. Reed-Thompson loves exercising, reading, being with her family. She is married and has four daughters.
